What an HWID Spoofer Does

A HWID spoofer changes the hardware identifiers your PC reports. It does not swap your motherboard. It changes the values Elytra Anti-Cheat hashes when WARDOGS builds a device fingerprint.

What HWID actually is

There is no single hardware ID. Anti-cheat stacks several reads into one fingerprint. Typical inputs are SMBIOS serial and UUID, disk and volume serials, NIC MAC address, and Windows MachineGuid.

Newer checks can include TPM and Secure Boot state. If only one field changes, enough of the old machine can still match. A useful spoof moves the stable set together.

WARDOGS official enforcement says a hardware ban bars the device from online play. Any account that signs in from that banned device is blocked. A new Steam account on the same fingerprint does not clear it.

Session spoof vs persistent rewrite

A session spoof holds new values in memory while the tool is loaded. Reboot and the real serials return unless you start it again. That is the common loop before a Control Zone queue.

A persistent rewrite writes supported identifiers so they survive reboot without a resident driver. “Persistent” does not mean every chip on the board is mutable. Firmware serials are the hard layer.

Launch order matters. Spoof first, then the game, then the overlay. If Elytra reads the old SMBIOS before the spoof attaches, you still present the banned set.

How this ties to overlay use

Players use a spoofer as a second identity layer while they run ESP and aimbot configs. It does not hide a rage snap on killcam. It only changes what the hardware check stores.

Keep overlay settings human. Small FOV, smoothness up, visible-check aimbot, and clean box ESP beat a loud screen.

After an Elytra or game patch, confirm Status, re-run the spoof, then load your saved config. The same wardogs hacks profile can stay on disk while the reported machine ID rotates.

No. It changes the device fingerprint. An account ban stays on that account. A hardware ban follows the old identifier set until those values no longer match.

Which IDs does a spoofer usually change?

Does Elytra run on Linux or Steam Deck?

Current WARDOGS builds are Windows 10 and 11 only. Elytra is kernel-level and is why Proton and Steam Deck are not supported right now.

    Session spoof every boot here. Forgot once after a Windows update and the launcher refused the connect. Order is spoof, then game. Not the other way around.

    Changed MAC only the first time. Still matched. Had to include disk + SMBIOS. One field is not a new machine.

    Anyone know if Secure Boot being on changes the hash? I left it on. Spoof still lets me in after the device block I had on the old account.

    Wiped Windows thinking that was enough. MachineGuid moved, motherboard serial did not. Hardware ban was still there until I spoofed firmware-level IDs.
